Policy Updates: Returns, Replacements, and Refunds: Due to COVID-19 Outbreak

We are temporarily unable to accept returns, in an effort to protect the safety of our associates. We have also suspended replacements due to limited inventory and shipping delays. Refunds will only be issued for missing or damaged items, at the discretion of our Customer Service team. We encourage customers to purchase only what they need during this time. As the situation evolves, we’ll adjust our policies accordingly to best serve you.
The below return policy is currently NOT in effect.

Return Policy:
  At hairstudiodejavu.com our commitment to quality and service is 100% absolute. Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of purchase date subject to conditions below. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within five business days of receipt of merchandise.

You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the full amount (less shipping and handling) of the item purchased. 
Refunds
Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. Once we receive and inspect the product we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 business days for a credit to appear on your account. If payment was made by check, the refund check will not be issued 10 business days after the date of purchase.
Exchanges
If the item was sent back for an exchange, please allow 3-5 business days for the replacement to be processed.

Conditions
Please read all Conditions below. If Conditions are not met, hairstudiodejavu.com reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 20%. * Authorization to return must first be obtained, please contact us at (786) 474-6379 between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST Mon-Fri, or email to info@hairstudiodejavu.com.
* All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, unopened in the original factory-sealed container.   * hairstudiodejavu.com is not responsible for personal items included with the returned merchandise. * hairstudiodejavu.com is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.
* The refund will be for the item only, less the shipping charge.

How to return or exchange an item:
Only unopened items in the original factory-sealed container are eligible for a refund.
In order to return an item you need to first obtain authorization to return it, please contact us at (786) 474-6379 between 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST Mon-Fri, or email to info@hairstudiodejavu.com . Once you receive the return authorization simply return the unopened items in the original factory-sealed container. The refund will be for the item only less the shipping charge. Place the original package into a shipping carton. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package. If you received a label in the email, print the label and tape it to the carton. Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. For your protection, we suggest you pack your items carefully and send your returned items insured, we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Include a copy of your invoice with the item you are returning, to receive a proper refund:

Items that qualified for free shipping that are being returned will have our standard shipping charges deducted from refund or credit. The return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to us) is not refundable. Please allow up to 8 business days after we receive the package for your return/exchange/refund to be processed. An email confirmation will be sent to you once the return is processed. Damaged & Incorrect Items: At hairstudiodejavu.com we do our best to package your products so they will arrive at you in excellent condition.  Unfortunately, once the package leaves our warehouse, it goes through many hands, and products may shift causing unintentional damage. Should you receive a product that has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately for further instructions. Please do not discard the damaged product(s) and retain the original box and packaging as inspection is often required by the carriers.
Claims for missing, incorrect, or damaged items must be received within five business days of receipt of merchandise.

Important Note for international customers: Please mark the item as “VENDOR RETURN” to avoid duties and customs.
